Bringing Evidence-Based Therapy to Life
A Seven-Year Creative Partnership
For the past seven years, Most West has partnered with Lyra Health to create more than 100 animated digital lessons that translate evidence-based therapeutic techniques into memorable, character-driven stories. What began with lessons focused on depression and anxiety has expanded to include ADHD, trauma, substance use, relationship skills, parenting, and other major life challenges, reaching a growing audience through Lyra’s digital care platform.
Making Clinical Content Memorable
Teaching Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through video requires balancing clinical accuracy with storytelling that keeps viewers engaged. Working closely with Lyra’s clinical team, we developed relatable characters and authentic scenarios that help viewers recognize themselves in each story before introducing practical tools they can use in their own lives.
Our visual approach, a “graphic novel brought to life”—combines expressive illustration, purposeful animation, and authentic voice performances. Animation is used selectively, only when movement adds emotional impact, clarifies an idea, or reinforces a key learning moment. This handcrafted yet scalable system has allowed the series to remain consistent while continuing to evolve.
Our Role and Impact
Most West provides end-to-end creative and production services, including creative direction, script and clinical collaboration, character development, casting and voice direction, storyboarding, illustration, animation, editorial, and sound design.
The partnership has produced:
More than 100 animated lessons
Hundreds of minutes of educational content
An 85% average watch-through rate for lessons averaging approximately eight minutes
A scalable creative model that has expanded across a wide range of mental health topics
The result is educational content that doesn’t feel like a lecture—a library of compelling stories that helps people understand therapeutic concepts and remember them when they need them most.
