Unlike other premium coffee roasters with a national footprint, Caffe Vita has fought to stay independently owned and operated. To tell Vita's story, I decided to point the camera away from the company and showcase other independent characters that have successfully bucked the system. The Steadfast series is paired with an online hub where people can commune and share their stories of people and places that, like Caffe Vita, stand steadfast.
